​🏴‍☠️ Saturday Stroll with the Sailors for Sustainability 🏴‍☠️

​Avast, ye landlubbers and harbor rats! Two fine board members of No One's Ark, the Sailors for Sustainability, have dropped anchor in New York City, and the Pirates for the Planet are rolling out the gangplank to welcome them home.

​Join us for a beautiful Saturday stroll around Governors Island, that little emerald isle in the middle of the harbor where the breeze is salty, the views are legendary, and the sun shines over Lady Liberty like a golden doubloon of a halo.

​As we wander, we'll swap tales from the sailors' global adventures (they just released the english version of their new book), and spill the latest from the decks of No One's Ark: where we've been, where we're headed, and a few whispers on the wind about what's coming next. 🤫⚓

​Ye shall encounter:

• ​⛵ The Sailors for Sustainability, fresh from distant shores

• ​🗺️ Organization updates from the No One's Ark crew

• ​🌊 Harbor views from every side of the island

​What to bring:

• ​Comfortable shoes (we'll be walkin', not sailin')

• ​A layer for when the harbor wind picks up

• ​Questions, ideas, and yer finest pirate hat (encouraged, never required). Eye-patches are included!

⛴️ Choose yer vessel to get there:

• ​From Manhattan: Battery Maritime Building, 10 South St. Board the 10:45am Governors Island ferry (free before 11am!)

• ​From Brooklyn Bridge Park: Pier 6, enter at Atlantic Ave. Board the 10:15am Governors Island ferry (free!)

• ​From Red Hook: Atlantic Basin, Pioneer St. and Conover St. Board the 10:45am Governors Island ferry (free!)

• ​Via NYC Ferry, South Brooklyn route: Board at Pier 11/Wall St at 10:29am, Pier 6/Atlantic Ave at 10:37am, or Red Hook at 10:47am. Lands at Yankee Pier, a short walk from Soissons. $4 one way.
