Iris: From Competition Win to Second MVP Iris, the wearable AI assistant for blind and visually impaired individuals, recently won a prize at an engineering competition in Nigeria with its first MVP. This month we'll share what's next: the second MVP aims to connect directly to the brain and work in place of the eyes to give complete vision. We're opening the floor to neurosurgeons, neuroscientists, and medical researchers who can offer feedback on the research, so come share your insights.
Zeqah Study Group: Implemented and Expanding Zeqah's peer-to-peer academic support structure for UNIBEN students is now live, one of our completed winnable issues. We'll share how implementation is going and dive into the expanded vision around mental, psychological, personal, and social development support for students.
FundBrave : We'll share the story so far, plus how the circle rallied to support one of our members' families through a medical fundraising campaign. Come hear how community-driven fundraising is making a real difference.
GreenFlare Progress Update GreenFlare returns with progress on the roadmap defined earlier, including updates on the IoT idea around trash tracking and rewards for environmental contributions that came out of our brainstorm.
Magnitron Solutions x Zeqah: Training Update An update on the Magnitron x Zeqah collaboration offering part-time tech skills training for UNIBEN students, what's been set up and how to get involved.
