On-Device AI for the Web Speaker by Hemanth HM (Paypal, Google Developer Expert)
Browsers are shipping language models. Chrome and Edge now expose on-device LLMs through a set of experimental JavaScript APIs: the Prompt API, Writer, Rewriter, and Summarizer. These give web developers direct access to AI without cloud round-trips, API keys, or model hosting. This talk covers the full surface area: zero-shot and n-shot prompting, system prompts, tool use, multimodal inputs, streaming, session management, and availability detection. We'll examine the design goals, the trade-offs versus cloud and BYO-model approaches, and what's coming next in the W3C Web Machine Learning Community Group spec. Expect live code and demos.
Beyond Observability: Testing Agents with Synthetic Users by Matt Wyman (Okareo)
Most teams ship agents having tested a handful of scenarios and hope observability catches the rest. We'll walk through how Okareo uses synthetic users and scenario-driven simulation to stress-test voice and text agents across personas, tools, and policies — turning "we think it works" into evidence.
