Join Somos Latinx in Tech for our Summer Soirée at Harbour Square Park—a relaxed evening designed to bring together Latinx professionals, students, founders, and allies to connect beyond the workplace. No presentations, no formal agenda—just an opportunity to enjoy the summer, meet new people, and build meaningful relationships in a welcoming environment.
Whether you're new to Toronto, growing your career in tech, exploring your next opportunity, or simply looking to spend time with the community, this is a space to connect naturally and have fun.
Here's what the evening looks like:
🌞 Icebreakers & conversation starters: Fun, low-pressure activities to help everyone meet new people and get conversations flowing.
🧺 Open networking & summer hangout: Bring a blanket, grab a snack, and enjoy casual conversations by the waterfront with fellow members of the Latinx tech community. We'll also have lawn games like volleyball, frisbee, badminton, and card games—join in or simply relax and chat with new friends.
🌇 Stay, mingle, and unwind: There's no rush or schedule to follow. Wander between groups, reconnect with familiar faces, make new connections, and enjoy a summer evening by the lake.
This event is for Latinx tech professionals, students, career changers, entrepreneurs, allies, and anyone who wants to build genuine connections within Toronto's tech community.
