About Event

Are you an event organizer? A convener of people? Or maybe you’re a strategic thinker, supporting a team or external parties? Maybe you’re designing a new product, digital, physical, an experience?

Said yes to one of the above? This workshop is FOR YOU 🫵🏽 AND YOU SHOULD COME!

Design begins before arriving at an event or before you shake a hand and introduce yourself. Join us to find out how empathy is significant to the design thinking process. We welcome designer Verónica Ayala Flores along with Design Gym founder + head coach Erike H. De Veyra, Assoc. AIA, SEED.

No doodads/pieces will be made, this is purely a session to get to know process and tools.

ABOUT OUR DESIGNERS

Verónica M. Ayala-Flores firmly believes in everyone's ability to participate in a greater conversation; one that affects the way we live, and the pursuit to improve it. For over a decade, in both volunteer and professional capacities, she has been facilitating collaborations, organizing, developing strategies, leading creative initiatives, and building the skills of leaders to advance social transformation.

Erike De Veyra, designer, project manager, and founder/head coach of Design Gym, demystifying design to designers of all ages and levels through tools, activities, workshops, experiences, and providing expertise to increase access and representation in the design industry. Erike uses (her twenty years) of training and experience in architecture to design and develop initiatives, public programs, and experiences for clients and the design curious.
