Disability Allyship In Action: Storytelling Edit
This 50 minute workshop equips activists and creators to understand and communicate the deep intersection between disability justice and climate justice. We'll unpack how ableism shapes who gets protected, heard, and included in climate response, then shift into practical storytelling: how to frame narratives about disabled communities and climate impact through an anti-ableist lens, avoiding inspiration tropes, tokenization, and erasure. Participants will leave with a working framework for telling these stories with accuracy, dignity, and power whether for campaigns, content, or coalition-building.

Finding Us
The venue is at The Bench, 49 Elizabeth Street, it's a bit of a secret entrance vibe. Here's how to find it, head to the elevator just to the right of Po Wing Hong Food Market Inc (see attached photo) and take that up. We'll have some chilli branding at the entrance on the day to make it more obvious!
You can either take the stairs up to the 6th floor, or take the elevator to the top.
