About Event

Health Tech is getting crowded, fast. AI made it easier than ever to build and ship, so more smart, credentialed people are entering the space with ideas that solve real problems. But a crowded market doesn't reward the best idea — it rewards the founder who executes.

This is Part 2 of a three-part series. Same thesis as Part 1 in LA, with a different set of voices and a different conversation. Joined us in LA? Bring what you learned. New to the series? You don't need Part 1 to follow along.

🎯 How This Works
No inspiration-only panels here. Every conversation Summer runs is built around one rule: you leave with something stealable — something you can actually do or review the second you're back at your desk.

Start by dropping your name, company and LinkedIn in the chat. No pitching, just connecting. Then the panel. Then a breakout room where you ask your questions directly to the speakers. Because the panel is the setup, and the after-convo is where the real magic happens.

🧱 The Wall
Fundraising is selling. Closing your first hospital or health-system contract is selling. Getting reimbursed from insurance companies is selling. Three different rooms, one skill nobody teaches you in med school, grad school, or engineering school.

🤝 Wherever You Are
Held virtually, so getting to OC Tech Week doesn't mean a drive down the 405 — join from your desk, your kitchen, or wherever you actually are.

🙋 Stay After
The panel conversation will be recorded. The breakout room afterward is just for the room — unrecorded and open. Stay to the end for the prize package download.

🎙 The Panel
Summer Poletti — Host & Moderator, Chief Sales Strategist at Rise of Us. She designs panels for what happens after they end, not for the panel itself.

Shruti Shah — General Partner at Symphonic Capital. A founder-turned-investor who scaled a Y Combinator-backed company nationally, built a team of 300+ and raised $22 million — now bringing an operator's eye to which early-stage companies are truly ready to fund and scale.

Sabrina Runbeck — Clinician-operator, health-tech investor and advisor. Helps health ventures move from promising pilot to commercial adoption by aligning founders, buyers and investors around what it takes to scale.

Melissa Kunde — Founder of KÜCO Media and creator of SåbiaOne. Helps founder-led companies turn complex ideas into sharp, credible positioning that buyers, investors and partners can understand and remember.

Megan Kane — Leads Rellia and advises digital health, SaMD and diagnostics founders on regulatory strategy and commercialization — helping them navigate approval requirements without losing sight of market adoption.
