Reserve in advance, learn and socialize about the Past, Present and Future of the Middle Reach and South Ocean Beach, hosted by Sierra Club SF Group, Ocean Beach Institute, and Westside Family Democratic Club (WFDC). The walking tour will be lead by Coastal Erosion and climate change experts, Westside residents, and advocates Chase Davenport and Brian Reyes of Friends of Sunset Dunes and Sierra Club SF Group. Leashed dogs and children :p are welcomed!

Stay for a Happy Hour after for Drinks at The Riptide on Taraval and Pizza from Brother's Pizza (nextdoor) courtesy of Sierra Club SF Group and WFDC (while supplies last).

Agenda

  1. 4PM: Meet at Noriega Cross of formerly Great Highway at the Heart Sculpture

  2. 4:10-4:50PM: Walk along the Way south to Sloat and discuss placemaking at stops along the way

  3. 4:50-5:30PM: Walk to Southern Extension to Discuss Coastal Erosion and Climate Change

  4. 5:30PM: Gather at The Riptide for happy hour.
