A16Z Infra x MIT + Harvard Mixer

​Join Owen Colby and Christine Cheng, Investing Partners on the a16z Infra team, for an exclusive small-group dinner with MIT and Harvard undergraduate, graduate, and PhD students interested in building companies.

​Owen focuses on early-stage cybersecurity and infrastructure investments. Before joining a16z, he was on the founding team of Adaptive Security, a cybersecurity company that has raised more than $140M from investors including OpenAI, Bain Capital Ventures, NVIDIA, and a16z. Owen attended Brown and Stanford GSB and previously worked at Bain and MIT.

​Christine focuses on early-stage infrastructure and AI investments. Before joining a16z, she was a SWE at Citadel. She earned her BS and MS in electrical engineering from Stanford and previously worked on GPU architecture at NVIDIA and infrastructure automation at Intel.

​The dinner is intended for MIT and Harvard students who may be interested in building a company in cybersecurity or AI infrastructure. This broadly includes foundation models, core AI systems, developer tools, data systems, next-generation cloud, B2B security, and other products built for technical buyers.

​Students will have an opportunity to discuss what they’re building or considering, meet peers with similar interests, and hear what Owen and Christine are seeing across the early-stage AI infrastructure and cybersecurity landscape.

​No startup idea, fundraising plans, or previous company-building experience is required.
