About Event

The Geospatial Engineering Students Association (GESA) invites passionate innovators, engineers, and space enthusiasts to take part in the GESA CanSat Project 2025, a hands-on journey to design, build, and launch a miniature satellite from scratch!

In this exciting challenge, three teams of eight participants each will work collaboratively to conceptualize, design, assemble, and test their own CanSat, a miniature satellite that performs a real mission upon launch. Each team will define its unique mission objectives, whether it’s atmospheric sensing, environmental monitoring, or creative data collection inspired by space exploration.

Through this project, participants will gain practical experience in:

  • Satellite systems engineering

  • Sensor integration and data transmission

  • Programming and telemetry

  • Team-based project management

  • Launch and recovery operations

Join us as we bring space technology closer to campus and nurture the next generation of space engineers.
