​Join us for a relaxed, hands-on block print on tote bag workshop where you’ll design and create a piece that’s entirely your own. Using bold patterns with carved wooden blocks, brayers, colours while learning a timeless Indian textile printing technique.
​The block print workshop is a glimpse into the world of Indian hand-block printing using hand carved wooden blocks, that is still practiced in many parts of India to create beautiful prints on fabrics. In this workshop, creatives would be introduced the slow-sustainable craft of hand-block, its origins, story, and significance for sustainability.
