✨ St. Louis Garden Get Together at McKinley Meadows | October
Welcome to our St. Louis gathering for October!
Join us for a day of community gardening at McKinley Meadows.
The garden was created through efforts of the community who wanted to improve their neighborhood. With a lot of teamwork, two vacant lots were transformed into McKinley Meadows and the neighborhood came together to buy the property.
The garden has now been a source of joy in McKinley Heights for eleven years. The Meadows have provided space to practice gardening at any skill level, hosted various music, movie, and comedy events (and even a slip & slide party), potlucks, and more – cultivating community connections for all.
There is no fence around the garden; everyone who happens upon the space should feel welcome to roam & rest. There is also no membership to participate so as not to ward off anyone cautiously curious about getting their hands dirty. When there's an abundance of harvest, McKinley Meadows has reached out to local restaurants to share.
