​This week, Nicholaas Schipper from RISE will talk about the pharmaceutical industry’s role in global healthcare and its environmental impact, as well as approaches to sustainable pharmaceutical manufacturing in the context of climate change. The session will cover the use of safe and sustainable by design practices in pharmaceutical manufacturing, including the integration of environmentally friendlier technologies and processes, and the application of standardized methods for sustainability assessment.
