About Event

I’m Mariam Amiri an 18-years-old girl from Afghanistan who believes that no limitation can silence a determined voice or a powerful dream.

In this event, I won’t just talk about success, I will share a real journey. A journey of a girl who turned writing into a form of resistance, hope, and change in the face of restrictions.

I have published over 360 essays and articles in four languages across 17 national and international media outlets. My first book, “An Ending for Another Beginning,” published by Sheesha Media, tells the story of a girl deprived of education who refuses to surrender.

As the Afghanistan Branch Leader of the Young Writers Innovation Magazine (USA), I helped establish the first branch of this organization in my country. I also served as the Writing Section Manager at Cluster Education, where I collaborated with girls across the network. Together, we formed a Young Writers Association and partnered with WrightGirls USA to host workshops that strengthened girls’ literary skills.

Beyond writing, I have been actively engaged in global leadership and advocacy. I received the Whetstone Legislative Advocacy Scholarship and worked with youth from 31 countries on human rights. I also interned with the Nobel program, connecting with young people from 160 countries over six months.

I was selected as a Leader of Changemakers 2025 in Thailand, hosted international writers during the Eleven Days of Global Unity, and was nominated for the Leadership Academy in Poland. On October 12th, I received the Women’s Empowerment Award from the Hazara Council of Great British.

More recently, I have been selected as a finalist for the Exceptional Women of Peace Award. I am currently studying at Forward Academy & EBA, where I have successfully completed Level 2 and am now continuing at Level 3.

I have also received admission offers from international universities; however, due to visa and related challenges, I was unable to attend.

Additionally, I have participated as a Distinguished Delegate at the 13th Asia World Model United Nations (AWMUN XIII), and I have been a guest speaker at PDEU Youth Parliament and HFF 2026.

But these are not just titles or awards they are steps toward building a brighter future for Afghan girls.

In this event, I will share my real story from deprivation to hope, from silence to voice, and from a simple blog to global platforms.

If you have a dream, If you want your voice to be heard, and if you believe change starts with one person, Then this event is for you.

Let’s learn together, inspire each other, and build a better future.
