An evening of colour, composition and conversation.
Squeegee painting is a deeply satisfying technique — fast, tactile, and a little unpredictable. Using both repetition and restraint, you'll design your own ornate patterns on paper: keep them as small individual prints, turn them into cards, or piece them together into a larger work.
Led by Amsterdam-based artist and textile designer Madeleine Sywulak, this hands-on workshop invites you to experiment freely with tools, textures and movement. The focus is not perfection, but play — you'll be encouraged to loosen up, try again, and enjoy the process without being precious about the outcome.
Most participants create around 8–10 prints during the 2.5-hour session, with the freedom to start over as many times as you like.
No prior experience needed. It's also a great exercise for those with their own creative practice who want to experiment with colour and motif in a different medium.

· Learn Madeleine's approach to squeegee painting and pattern design
· Play with colour, texture, movement and motif
· Make around 8–10 prints across the session — and start over as often as you like
· Spend an evening with a small group of creatives

About The Artist:
Madeleine Sywulak is an American artist and designer based in Amsterdam. She designs paper goods and textiles that are stocked in stores across North America and Europe, as well as through her online shop. Madeleine creates everything from her Amsterdam studio, where she also hosts laid-back workshops centered around connection through creativity.
