As the tech landscape rapidly shifts, Hard Reset wants to bring you an event where we could chat about the overlap between tech, labor, and what it means to build community outside of the office — all while connecting with nature.

We'll begin with a two-hour guided walk to explore our local wildlife and collect berries. Then we'll host lunch at 12 PM to chat as tech builders, founders, designers, and engineers who are interested in the world we can experience offline.

Hard Reset is a new Substack publication that explores the relationship between tech and power, featuring the journalism of Ariella Steinhorn, JJ Lansing, and Alex Shultz. The newsletter aims to focus on the experience of tech WORKERS, not founders, as the industry radically changes.

​Nick Robertson is a biotech PhD and an entrepreneur turned naturalist. Nick's knack for learning and teaching has culminated in "TheBayForager" persona on Instagram and TikTok, where he shares interesting and often edible plants and mushrooms found around the California Bay Area. To share his knowledge and build community, Nick hosts mushroom foraging and naturalist tours that teach residents about the incredible and edible world around them.
