About Event

This session is designed for business owners, particularly those running small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

SMEs often have the autonomy to experiment with AI but without the time, resources, or internal teams to properly evaluate what AI adoption should actually look like. Many founders feel caught between AI hype, tool launches, and conflicting advice.

You might already be using AI in parts of your business.
You might have asked team members to explore it.
Or you might still be sceptical about further investment.

The real questions are:

  • Have we done enough?

  • How much does AI actually affect business survival?

  • Should we call ourselves “AI adopters” and to what extent?

This event avoids buzzwords and focuses on real business decisions:

  • What problems can AI realistically solve?

  • Where does it introduce risk instead of value?

  • How much autonomy should a business owner give to AI?

You’ll see a live demo of AI used in a real business context, followed by a fireside conversation with Kevin Loi-Heng, AI researcher and founder of Avalon Insight, who works with organisations on AI literacy and adoption foundations.

The session is moderated by Linda Zuo, founder of Mulan Hood, bringing cross-disciplinary experience across engineering, finance, consumer goods and business strategy to keep the discussion practical and commercially grounded.
