​What does “home” taste like?
Is it your grandma’s dumplings? The 2am instant noodles you cooked alone?

​Some recipes were never written.
Some flavors are fading.
Some memories are too tender to say out loud — but can still be zined.

​🌿
In this hands-on zine workshop, we’ll explore food, memory, and migration.
You’ll create a small zine about a family recipe — real or imagined — using drawing, collage, writing, and scent.
You can write down a recipe, sketch your childhood kitchen, collage taste memories, or share something you’ve never said about “home.”

​We’ll provide:
📖 Zine templates and creative materials
🧂 A spice-scent station to trigger memory
📷 A kitchen object photo booth
☕ Tea and gentle vibes

​Bring a dish in mind, that you remember, miss, or can no longer eat.
Bring a story.
We’ll make zines that hold the taste of home.

​The workshop will be led by Yibing Du

​✨ You don’t need to bring anything — you are enough.
Come as you are. We’ll make space for your story.

是外婆包的饺子，红烧肉，是凌晨独自煮下的方便面，是一口吃下眼泪也要咽下的饭。

​那些未被书写的味道，
那些已经遗忘或逐渐模糊的手艺，
那些无法翻译的情感与文化——
都值得被记录、被咀嚼、被讲述。

在这个工作坊中，我们将通过 zine 的形式，把食物背后的记忆转化为图文作品：
你可以写配方、画厨房、贴上童年的味道、拼贴母语的词语，也可以留下一个你从未说出口的关于家的故事。

​欢迎你带上一道你记得、想念、或者再也吃不到的菜，带上一段故事，来和我们一起写下家的味道。
