Creative Brain Lab for the Non-Artist
Most people stopped calling themselves creative somewhere around middle school. The label got handed to other people and never came back.
But creativity isn't an art skill. It's a brain skill. It's a way to come up with new ideas inside the same old boundaries. It's what you use to solve a problem at work that nobody's solved before, figure out a workaround, explain something complicated to a kid, or plate dinner from what's in the fridge. Most of us do this every day without ever training the brain that does it.
The Quiet Brain Club is hosting an evening to unplug, learn, and practice for people who want to think more flexibly and generate better ideas. This isn't a talk. You'll leave with practical tools you can apply right away.
What to expect:
The science of how new ideas form, and what conditions make them more likely
A guided brain training session designed for creative states
Playful challenges that build cognitive flexibility, practice with the room instead of alone
Time to connect with others who take this seriously
Space is intentionally limited. If your plans change, please update registration so someone else can take your spot.
About your host:
Shalaka is a former Apple engineer and an experienced yoga teacher who now teaches the science and practice of training the brain. She runs The Quiet Brain Club because training your brain to focus, think better, and perform should be as normal as going to the gym. But right now, there's almost nowhere to actually do it.
