​Before we jump into tuning robots and hacking on AI demos, we’re starting with a hands-on buildathon dedicated to assembling the SO-101 open-source robots.

​​Overview

​​The Robot Build-a-thon is a collaborative pre-event where participants come together to assemble, calibrate, and prepare the SO-101 robot kits that will be used during future hackathons. It’s a chance to roll up your sleeves, get familiar with the hardware, and set the stage for the creative AI challenges ahead.

​​Outcomes

​​By the end of the Buildathon, every participant will have:
✅ A fully assembled SO-101 robot
✅ A working knowledge of its mechanics & electronics
✅ Confidence with AI model tuning and deployment
