Life Science & Tech Consultants Association (LSTCA) – Hike & Talk Networking Event
Join us for an informal summer “Hike & Talk” networking meetup at beautiful Talapus and Olallie Lakes! This is a great opportunity to connect with fellow life science and tech consultants, entrepreneurs, scientists, and industry professionals in a relaxed outdoor setting. Families, kids, and dogs are welcome!

🕘 Meet at trailhead: 9:00 AM
🥾 Departing promptly: 9:20 AM
Trail details:
• Talapus Lake: easy/moderate, 3.2 miles round trip, ~800 ft elevation gain
• Olallie Lake: 6.2 miles round trip, ~1,220 ft elevation gain
With a gradual grade and wide trail, Talapus Lake is perfect for both experienced hikers and beginners. We’ll plan to pause at the lake for snacks, lunch, and conversation. Those who want a longer adventure can continue on to Olallie Lake for additional hiking and networking time.
🚗 Directions from Seattle:
Take I-90 East toward Snoqualmie Pass. Take Exit 45 toward NF-9030/Salmon La Sac. Follow signs to the Talapus Lake Trailhead. Drive time is approximately 50 minutes from Seattle (traffic dependent).
🅿️ Parking Information:
Parking is available at the trailhead, but lots can fill quickly on weekends, so arriving early is strongly recommended.

• America the Beautiful National Park Pass
🚘 Carpooling Encouraged!
We highly encourage attendees to coordinate carpools from Seattle and the Eastside to reduce parking congestion and make the drive more fun.

After the hike, anyone interested is welcome to continue the conversation over food and drinks at Volition Brewing Co. in North Bend. This will be a fun opportunity to relax, continue networking, and get to know fellow attendees in an even more informal setting.
