What happens when you can’t quite trust the colours in front of you?
In this experimental art jam, you’ll paint inside a darkened room illuminated by shifting coloured light. Familiar colours will look unfamiliar, mixtures may surprise you, and halfway through, your perception of the piece will change again.
When the lights return to normal, you’ll see the artwork you created for the very first time. In its true colours.
No painting experience is needed. Come ready to experiment, relinquish a little control and make something unexpected.
What’s Provided:
– Primary-colour acrylic paints
– An assortment of brushes
– Craft and watercolour paper
Bring your own canvas if you’d like to work on one.
Please wear something you don’t mind getting paint on. The experience takes place under dim, coloured lighting; contact us beforehand if you have visual or light sensitivities.
