About This Retreat
Most leadership retreats teach you frameworks and send you home with a notebook full of notes and no idea what to do Monday morning.
This isn't that.
Wired to Lead is a private, 90-minute strategic retreat designed specifically for the leadership team of Retail Women in Tech (RWIT) — a community of women at the forefront of retail and technology. The RWIT leadership team doesn't just run an organization. They volunteer their time, energy, and expertise to move an entire industry forward. That kind of sustained leadership requires more than good intentions. It requires alignment — between who you are, how you lead, and how your team operates together.
That's exactly what this retreat is built to deliver.
What We're Doing
Facilitated by Wei Houng of HumanOp® Technologies, this session uses will give the RWIT leadership team a clear, data-backed picture of how they are each individually wired — and what that means for how the team operates as a whole.
This is a learn-and-apply session. Not a lecture. Not a personality workshop where everyone smiles, nods, and goes home unchanged. Every insight maps directly to a concrete leadership behavior. Every discovery connects back to RWIT's mission.
Leading from Your Wiring We'll look at each leader's Pilot and Co-Pilot Motivational Drivers — the forces that determine where your discretionary energy naturally flows and where it drains. As volunteers, you cannot sustain what you're building if you're constantly working against your own design. This is about understanding the physics of how you lead — so you stop pushing and start flowing.
Team Dynamics Mapping We'll map the collective communication profile of the full leadership group. What does that mean for how you make decisions, manage conflict, and show up to the community you serve? The map doesn't lie — and the conversation it creates is one most leadership teams never get to have.
