​We’re kicking off the new year with something a little different.

​Our first DCG-SATX meetup of 2026 will feature an 🌒 After Dark 🌒 presentation. After Dark is our new off-the-record format, conducted under Chatham House Rules:

​You are free to use the information shared, but neither the identity nor the affiliation of the speaker (or any other participant) may be revealed.

​It’s designed for discussions meant to be shared in the room, not archived. That means:

​❌ No recordings
❌ No photos
❌ No published slides
❌ No public summaries

It gives researchers, hackers, and curious minds the freedom to speak candidly about unfinished work, sensitive findings, and uncomfortable realities.

​Here’s what we can say:

​Our speaker will be discussing vulnerabilities and other questionable behavior discovered in consumer electronic devices; specifically, some of the most intimate, personal, and private devices you can think of.

​This talk will explore the kinds of security, privacy, and trust issues you don’t usually see covered in polite company. If you like your cybersecurity discussions raw, honest, and a little uncomfortable - this one’s for you.
