Making behavioral health impact measurable for health plans: NeuroFlow company briefing and Q&A with co-founder & CEO Christopher Molaro
Behavioral health has become one of the hardest problems for payers to manage. Demand keeps rising, there aren't enough clinicians to meet it, and quality is hard to measure, so plans often can't tell whether members are getting the care they need. NeuroFlow builds AI-enabled behavioral health analytics that pull together clinical and administrative data to flag members at rising risk, match them with providers who have availability, and track whether referrals turn into care.
The company is moving risk detection from one-time screening to continuous monitoring, as Healthcare IT News recently reported. A study with Independence Blue Cross of 13,000 commercial members linked the program to a 68% higher likelihood of getting outpatient behavioral health care, 33% fewer behavioral health ED visits, and $27.63 lower total medical cost per member per month.
Based in Philadelphia, NeuroFlow works with health plans, health systems and federal agencies. Co-founder and CEO Christopher Molaro will join HTN Live for a company briefing and Q&A with HTN's Martin Cech.
