About Event

Raising your first priced round is a completely different beast than all those SAFEs that got you here.

Healing Healthtech is the organizer, but the subject matter will be industry-agnostic.

Healing Healthtech is teaming up with Qapita to offer a 4 part in-person bootcamp for founders seeking to raise their first priced round.

Session 1 (1pm-1:45pm): Data room and cap table hygiene and best practices for a priced raise.
Session 2 (2pm-2:45): Hustle and Workflow to find, pitch, and close your first institutional investor(s).
Session 3 (3pm-3:45): Words that matter: Negotiating an effective term sheet and priced fundraise.
Session 4 (4pm-4:45): VC panel and fireside chat. 3 active priced seed and series A investors answer your questions about current market conditions for a priced raise.

Super secret session: (Optional) We'll be choosing 10 founders to stay for a private founders and funders dinner and roundtable after the event. It will be led by an exited NYC digital health COO turned angel who raised multiple rounds into a 9 figure exit. To apply, please share the link to your deck in the signup.

Mat Kaliski of Acronym Venture Capital
Brian Laung Aoaeh, CFA of REFASHIOND Ventures: The Industrial Transformation Fund
Owen Willis of Opal Ventures and Primary Venture Partners

[Organizer's note: I previously ran multiple accelerators at a major university and have mentored for many others. My thesis for 2026-2027 events is to distill the highest-impact parts of those programs away from the noise and pageantry into short, intensive workshops open to any founder willing to commit the time in participating. -V]
