WHO WE ARE
A global grassroots movement dedicated to addressing extreme risks from advanced artificial intelligence (AI).


WHY WE PROTEST
Leading AI companies are racing to build the first AI that surpasses human abilities in all cognitive tasks. None of them know how to keep such a “superintelligence” safe and controllable. Possible risks range from human economic disempowerment to even more catastrophic outcomes like human extinction.
Advanced AI relies on hardware that can only be produced with machines from Dutch company ASML.


WHAT WE ASK FOR
We call on ASML and the Dutch government to ensure their technology only supports AI that will serve humanity, not destroy us. Say no to artificial superintelligence!

Require ASML to supply only customers who:

• ​Commit to a superintelligence moratorium through binding agreements

• ​Submit to verification by an independent regulatory commission

• ​Require the same from their business customers
