About Event

A selected group of entrepreneurs, political strategists and engaged citizens gathers in the Austrian Alps to discuss scenarios, requirements and levers for a bright future of the European continent – as a reliable and independent partner among leading democracies.

The recently published US National Security Strategy and the following passive‑reactive debate in Europe yet again only uncovered the deeper challenges of European leadership, alignment and foreign policy.

While the interests and influences of critical partners have to be integrated, Europe needs to set course for its future, decisively and on its own. Existential questions about strategy, sovereignty and global positioning have to be answered:

  • Between dependent small nations and a sovereign super power that carries its own weight: what shall Europe’s role be in a more volatile, multipolar and aggressive world?

  • What internal blockers have to be overcome and milestones have to be achieved on the path to a sovereign Europe that is respected by allies and competitors?

  • How to involve partners and neighbors with their concerns about European ambition, in the face of likely scenarios for the next decade?

Impulses and panel discussions with:

  • Representative of the Marshall Center

  • Victor Henckel von Donnersmarck, Global Strategist and Senior Advisor Munich Security Conference

Hosted by:

  • Florian Handschuh, Founder and CEO Klarx, Founder Athletes Act Now and Free Ride Champion, Founding Contributor New Renaissance
