Following the 2025 edition of An Evening of Yoruba Hymns, which successfully gathered believers to worship and raise funds for mission work, the 2026 edition builds on this foundation with a clearer missional anchor.
This year’s event is positioned around Acts 1:8 — a call to be witnesses “in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”
Yoruba hymns have historically carried the gospel in local language and context. The hymns we sing today are echoes of a faith passed down through generations. This gathering seeks to both preserve that heritage and actively support the continued spread of the gospel across regions.
