Discover Tomorrow is a quarterly morning briefing series exploring the emerging technologies shaping the future of mobility. The program is co-hosted by Mazda Motor Corporation’s Silicon Valley team, Koito Manufacturing, and Daybreak Insights.

Our June 4 event, Innovations in Transportation Safety, will convene leaders from major OEMs, regulatory agencies, and leading research institutions to explore the technologies shaping the future of transportation safety. As transportation systems become increasingly complex, the challenge remains how to translate breakthrough innovation into measurable real-world safety outcomes.

The discussion will examine emerging trends across ADAS, AI-driven analytics, autonomy, regulation, and next-generation occupant protection, with a focus on how industry, government, and research can work together to reduce risk and improve roadway safety through data, experimentation, and cross-sector collaboration.

The panel conversation will be moderated by Sasha Lekach, contributor to Forbes Cars & Bikes and an alumna of UC Berkeley.

The event is co-hosted with UC Berkeley's Institute of Transportation Studies and sponsored by the Haas Mobility Club and Professor Adair Morse.
