A Spooktacular Virtual Film Showcase 👻

Join us for A Spooktacular Virtual Film Showcase on Thursday, October 29 at 7:00 PM PT.

This virtual event will highlight and screen the winning short films from our Spooktacular Film Contest selected by our panel of guest judges Reza Sixo Safai, Chris White, and Jason Zada, spotlighting emerging filmmakers who are pushing creative boundaries in genre storytelling.

In addition to the screenings, we will be hosting live talks with two distinguished guest speakers:

• Reza Sixo Safai — Actor, writer, and producer known for critically acclaimed, boundary-pushing projects including the Sundance breakout A Girl Walks Home Alone at Night and the wild action-horror Prisoners of the Ghostland.

• Chris White — Executive producer of The Backrooms, helping bring the viral internet sci-fi/horror sensation to life alongside A24. The producer mastermind behind the acclaimed Portals and V/H/S Viral.

Whether you are a director, producer, writer, or entertainment enthusiast, this event offers an inside look at what it takes to bring singular genre concepts to life.
