Meet the Artists:
The Aytac Davids Collective is the dynamic artistic partnership of Ekin Deniz Aytac (Turkey) and Joshua Davids (USA). Creating and traveling together since 2014, their work fuses disparate cultural influences into profound new forms of contemporary glass art. With a background that spans specialized studies in the Czech Republic, MFA degrees in the USA, and the management of prestigious institutions like Glass Art Kalamazoo, they are recognized globally as innovators in the field.
Their collaborative process is defined by a meticulous balance: combining the raw, additive heat of the furnace with the subtractive, surgical precision of cold-working. Today, their multi-layered, evocative objects are exhibited in renowned galleries, museums, and private collections around the world.
