HOW TO RAISE MONEY

​​I am going to teach you everything you need to know to raise money for your startup.

​​This is a ~2 hour intensive. I have given it multiple times before at NS and for the right founder, it is largely acknowledged as the best thing they have done at NS.

​​Some even come 2, 3 times.

​​Who is the right founder? Focus is on venture backable companies competing for world-changing opportunities.

​​Whilst we will start at basics I consider this session as expert as you can get, and there are for eg many founders who have raised millions before that have come to this and found it useful.

​​We will cover everything from the basics to the strategy and tactics of getting it done, including:

• ​​What you need to fundraise, valuations

• ​​Investors - who, what, why, economics & incentives

• ​​How to run a fundraising process

• ​​Metrics needed at different stages

​​I've been investing as an angel and VC since 2013, have raised 50+ tickets from $10k to $10M into startups I ran, and have advised on 100+ other investments.

​​I've had multiple exits, and some huge failures. I've been involved with early stage accelerators since 2013 - techstars worked out of my funds office. Ran On Deck 'Europe' before ODF1, and ran my own 'accelerator' - The Reserve - where 50% of our pre-seed companies became unicorns.
