Full-Day Trip to Whistler with Neptune | Foundation Model Building @ICML 2025

Whistler. Full-day trip on us. 20-person cap. Only folks training foundation models — research or platform side.

We’re heading to Whistler for a full-day offsite with a small group of folks who know the sweat and tears that go into training foundation models. Chance to unplug, reset, and take in some of the most iconic must-see spots around Vancouver.

We’ve got researchers from Meta, Mistral AI, Netflix Research, Amazon and others already confirmed. You in?

Schedule:
🕣 8:30 AM — Depart from Vancouver (near VCC)
📍 Stop at Shannon Falls
🍽️ Lunch in Whistler Village
🚠 Afternoon ride on the Sea to Sky Gondola
🕡 ~6:30 PM — Return to Vancouver

Meeting point details will be shared with confirmed participants.

We’re sponsoring the trip, but we’re not here to pitch. We’ll be there to listen, learn, and keep improving what we’re building.

Quick note:
Registration is open to everyone, but we’ll review signups to keep the group focused on people actively working on foundation models.
If that’s you, you’re in the right place — just hang tight while we confirm your spot.
