About the Speaker
Perry Yap is a Singapore-based visual effects professional and co-founder of Citystate Studio, formed by former ILM Singapore leadership. His experience spans large-scale international productions including Marvel and Star Wars films, as well as local features such as We Are All Strangers and Ah Girl, which are due for release this year.
Through his work, Perry focuses on bringing proven post-production workflows and best practices from global productions into Singaporean films. He advocates for clearer understanding, early planning, and practical production approaches to strengthen collaboration between VFX teams and the wider filmmaking ecosystem.
