​👻 IT'S SPOOKY SEASON, JAVASCRIPT EDITION! 👻

​Dust off the costume and join us at Northeastern University on October 1 for the spookiest night on the VanJS calendar. Three talks that summon pixels out of the GPU, teach your CI pipeline to think for itself, and put your AI coding habits on trial — plus pizza, treats, and plenty of time to haunt the hallways with the rest of the Vancouver JS crowd.

​🎃 Costumes strongly encouraged — best one takes home a prize. Don't make us send the ghosts after you.

​🎙️ Featured Talks:

• ​Philmo Gu (Senior R&D Software Engineer @ Synopsys): Graphics Rendering on the Browser — what WebGL and WebGPU actually are, how they work, and the wild blogs, projects and products people build with them.

• ​Ve Sharma (Solution Engineer, Cloud & AI @ Microsoft): Building Non-Deterministic CI Gates — same input, same output… unless your pipeline understands context. Compliance gates that catch the nuanced violations deterministic tools walk right past.

• ​YK Sugi (Developer Experience Manager @ Eventual, creator of CS Dojo): The Spectrum of Agentic Coding — a four-level framework from vibe coding to code you'd defend line by line, after a billion tokens of hard-earned experience.
