Community Call: Let's Play The Polycentricity Game!
The Polycentricity Game was conceived as an interactive simulation to explore the complex dynamics of collaborative governance, strategic negotiation, and multi-stakeholder problem-solving.
Players take on unique roles and negotiate agreements by exchanging obligations and benefits, creating emergent network graphs of cooperation. The system is adaptable to any context—customize scenarios, roles, and agreement formats to fit your network’s unique composition. Transform governance challenges into engaging gameplay.
The game has been piloted with Stanford, communities at Edge Esmeralda, and the KOI team in Metagov as a way to structure their collaborative agreements. Now, we're bringing the Polycentricity Game to DWeb Camp 2026 in Berlin, Germany!
This will be a virtual playthrough in preparation for our IRL playthrough in the Metagov Village at DWeb Camp. Whether you'll be there or not, you are invited to join us for this game :)
