Claude Code: Build Your Personal Operating System - Dave Wascha

​Dave Wascha spent months building a personal operating system on top of Claude Code that automates the admin that eats his week: email triage, scheduling back-and-forth, meeting prep, morning inbox review.

​In this live demo, Dave will show the running system and walk through the architecture behind it:

• ​Headless agents running on a schedule at zero marginal cost. How claude --print turns your Max subscription into a free API, and why that changes what's economically viable

• ​The pattern that makes agents reliable. Routines, roles, and conductors: breaking complex workflows into narrow, testable steps so the LLM can't skip, merge, or invent steps

• ​Deterministic logic in code, judgment in LLM. The single most important design decision: why you push everything mechanical into Python and only give Claude the parts that need thinking

• ​Documentation as system. The markdown files aren't documentation about the system. They are the system. When something goes wrong, you edit a markdown file and every future run reads the fix

• ​A knowledge layer over your meetings and relationships. Transcripts, entity extraction, a knowledge graph, and semantic search so every agent knows who you know and what you discussed
