Metal · Light · Water · Sound · Tea // An Evening of Vibration
For one evening, a very special location in Graça opens its doors.
Artist Rodrigo Morán Silva (https://rodrigomoran.studio/), currently in residence there, works with water, metal and light to make vibration visible. For this evening he presents new installations made for the space, where ripples become drawings of light.
As the evening settles, we pause for tea, then gather for special guest Görkem Şen and the Yaybahar, an instrument of his own invention that turns two cello strings, long coiled springs and drum membranes into vast, cinematic soundscapes. It is fully acoustic, with no electricity and no effects, so what you hear is exactly what you see, and you feel it in your body as much as in your ears.
