St. Nicholas Play & Feast, a St. John Chrysostom Parish Tradition
You and your family are warmly invited to our annual St. Nicholas Play and Feast, a beloved parish tradition that brings to life the true story of St. Nicholas, the Wonderworker—holy bishop, defender of the faith, and generous shepherd of the poor.
Each year, we gather as a parish family for a festive potluck meal, with catered staples provided and plenty of room for your favorite dishes to share. After/during the meal, the children of our parish offer a heartfelt, dramatic retelling of his life. It is beautiful, joy-filled, and a genuine catechesis wrapped in laughter and wonder.
What to Expect
A children-led play honoring the true St. Nicholas
A short visit from St. Nicholas for the kids
A hearty potluck + catered basics lunch
Fellowship, carols, and the warm joy of the Nativity Fast
How You Can Help
Please bring a dish to share—anything from salads to sweets. If you’d like to volunteer for setup, cleanup, or play assistance, simply note as much in your event registration.
Suggested donation for parish-catered basics: $10 person or $30 family.
Come celebrate the generosity, courage, and holiness of St. Nicholas as we prepare our hearts for the Feast of the Nativity. We look forward to seeing you and your family there!
With love in Christ,
