The Ordinary - Pride Month Group Exhibition Opening Celebration
Collective Z presents The Ordinary, a group exhibition opening Thursday, June 4 and running through June 30.
The Ordinary begins with a simple premise: being queer is ordinary. Not invisible. Not assimilated. Not quietly tolerated. Ordinary in the sense that it requires no justification, no performance, no special occasion. It is a fact of life, like any other.
The works in this exhibition — across painting, drawing, photography, and sculpture — carry that same quality of certainty. Each one arrives with a singular point of view, and together they hold a conversation about queer life that has no need to announce itself.
Join us for the opening reception. Meet the artists. See the work in person. Stay for a glass and the room.
Throughout June, The Ordinary will be accompanied by month-long programming — artist conversations, collector previews, partner activations, and community evenings. RSVPs for those will follow.
