​Join us on Wednesday, January 28 for Books & Bites, a cozy, candlelit book gathering at Little Chef Little Cafe, a beloved neighborhood spot in Long Island City.

​​Unwind after work with delicious light bites, quiet reading time, and thoughtful conversation. Bring whatever you’re currently reading—or have been meaning to read—and settle into a warm, inviting space alongside neighbors who appreciate books, reflection, and community.

​​Enjoy a curated assortment of snacks, a non-alcoholic beverage, and the simple pleasure of reading together, before opening the evening to relaxed conversation.

​​ • 8:00–8:30 PM – Optional conversation or continue reading

​​Let’s gather to read side by side, then share what resonated, ask questions, or offer reflections. Let your book become a bridge of connection to yourself and to others.

​ℹ️ Good to Know:

• ​All ticket sales are final and nonrefundable. If you’re unable to attend and do not receive any goods or services, the full ticket price may be treated as a charitable contribution to the extent permitted by law, and a tax receipt will be issued for your records. Or you’re welcome to transfer the ticket to a friend - just notify us of their name at least 60 minutes before the start of the event so we can update the guest list.
