Joel Perlman is Senior MD and Co-founder of OakNorth, the leading digital bank for the underserved lower mid-market (£5m–£100m revenue businesses), having provided over $20bn to date with top 1% commercial bank performance globally. He previously founded Copal Partners in 2002 with $60k, scaling it with co-founder Rishi Khosla to 3,000 employees across 12 markets before selling to Moody's Corporation and returning over 200x to seed investors. Joel grew up in Bogotá, Colombia, started his career at McKinsey & Company, and holds degrees from LSE and Georgetown.
Keynote by Francisco Okecki - Founder of CloudGaia
Francisco is an international lawyer and tech entrepreneur with 20+ years in internet, e-commerce, AI, and cloud innovation, leading Cloudgaia (Latin America's largest dedicated Salesforce partner, backed by Salesforce Ventures) and Altergaia, a venture builder making AML/KYC/CFT compliance accessible. Through Altergaia, he co-founded PassportAML, a Salesforce-native agentic AI compliance platform used by major financial institutions across Latin America and Europe. His work bridges technology and financial inclusion, engaging regulators and industry leaders to extend financial access to historically excluded populations.
