ABOUT LAURA
Laura is a calligraphy artist and teacher whose work explores creativity as a tool for calm, connection and wellbeing. After experiencing a period of poor mental health while working in the live music events industry, Laura discovered calligraphy as a grounding practice during her recovery. What began as personal healing has since grown into a creative business rooted in mindful mark-making and the power of slowing down.
Today, Laura delivers public and private workshops, workplace wellbeing sessions, and live calligraphy for events, helping people reconnect with creativity, presence and themselves - one letter at a time.

ABOUT THE VENUE
A flower shop, where you can pull up a chair and enjoy a glass of wine among the blooms. A "new look" for this traditional gifting pair, and in a unique space which has been made into the essence of what Stems & Vines HQ is: delicious female-focused wine list, with a short but satisfying bar-snack menu all to enjoy amongst the flowers, with good tunes playing throughout. Opened October 2025 and founded by Philippa Smith - a local champion of female-led small businesses and local artists.
Please note: the workshop takes place downstairs and there is no step-free access.
