The Right to Take Up Space
The Right to Take Up Space: Workshop & Movement Session
Women are often taught to shrink.
To soften our tone.
To say yes when we mean no.
To take up less space in rooms, in relationships, and in our own bodies.
This session explores tools to begin doing things differently. 💪
We'll start with a grounded, accessible psychoeducation session on how to feel comfortable taking up space, led by Dr. Kirstie Fleetwood Meade.
This will be followed by a guided movement practice led by Paulina from YourMovement. Through simple sequences, we'll explore expansion and experiment with what it feels like to quite literally take up room. 🌿
No prior experience with yoga or therapy needed. Just come as you are. ✨
