About Event

What if the most complex network in the known universe has been inside you all along?

Join us for a captivating lecture with UC Berkeley neurologist and Distinguished Professor Dr. Mark D’Esposito, who will take us inside the brain’s “connectome,” a vast web of 100 billion neurons forming more connections than all the world’s internet devices combined. Through new tools like fMRI, network science, and graph theory, researchers are beginning to map this inner universe with unprecedented clarity.

Dr. D’Esposito will explore how this emerging science is transforming our understanding of cognition—from how the brain focuses and solves problems to how it recovers after stroke or trauma. Drawing on decades of groundbreaking research, he reveals how the brain rewires itself, adapts, and heals, offering a powerful new lens on what makes us human. 🌐🧠✨
