Spring Time Stroll: QTBIPOC-Centered Hike 🌸
Come join us for a community stroll through the trails as we continue blooming into Spring.
BIPOC-centered means this space is created by and for BIPOC community members, including mixed-race folks connected through cultural practices, lineage, and lived experience.
White allies are welcome by invitation only as plus-ones.
We’ll spend about 2.5 hours on the trail at the Wissahickon, then head out together for lunch. This is an intermediate hike. The trail is natural surface (dirt and rock) with uneven terrain—come ready for a little challenge but we will keep the pace casual.
Please RSVP for more detailed trail, restaurant, and rideshare info.
📅 Sunday, April 19th
⏰ 9:00 AM —we depart at 9:15am
📍 Wissahickon- Roxborough-Manayunk area
🥾 What to bring: water, shoes with good tread, and layers if it's chilly
🚗 Rideshare: Self-organized. We have a super handy spreadsheet from past events! If you have room in your car, add your name as a driver. If you need a ride, find an open spot, add your name, and contact info to begin coordination.
We have a limited number of food stipends available for folks who would like to break bread with us but have a tight budget—community care always. We'll reach out to folks who have self-identified need in the RSVP.
