Building with Barakah
Two communities. One room. One evening during Toronto Tech Week.
Muslim women in Product meet Muslim women founders and investors - because the best products are built when the people who know how to build meet the people who are building and backing them.
Building with Barakah is an intimate working evening hosted by MVP - a Canadian registered non-profit and global community of 200+ minority women in Product across 5 continents.
This is not a panel. This is not a pitch competition. This is operator expertise meeting founder ambition meeting investor insight.
If you're a Muslim woman founder with a product you're trying to take to the next level - this room has the expertise to help you get there.
If you're a Muslim woman in Product - this room has the founders who need exactly what you know.
If you're a Muslim woman investor - this room has the founders and operators you rarely get access to in one place.
What to expect
🔹 Facilitated product roundtables: founders bring real challenges, product leaders bring operator expertise, investors bring market perspective. Real problems, real solutions.
🔹 Honest peer exchange across the founder, operator, and investor divide: the conversations that usually only happen in expensive consulting engagements or closed-door VC meetings, happening here over dinner.
🔹 Meaningful networking: in a space where you don't have to explain yourself before you can be yourself.
🔹 Community: MVP members, Muslim women founders, and investors in Toronto together in one room for the first time.
Space is intentionally limited to keep the conversation real and the connections meaningful.
