Are We Outsourcing Too Much of Our Thinking?
Location: Clough Undergraduate Learning Commons, Room 150, Georgia Tech campus.
If you lost access to AI tomorrow, which of your skills would still be there?
We're getting extraordinarily good at asking AI for answers. But what happens to our own ability to think when the difficult parts become optional?
For our first Campus Conversation, we're bringing together Georgia Tech students from different disciplines to discuss the relationship between convenience, struggle, learning, and independent thought.
We'll explore questions like:
- Which thinking skills are worth protecting?
- What do we lose when nobody has to struggle to learn something anymore?
- What should we deliberately refuse to outsource?
No slides. No presentations. No right answers.
Just a small group of students exploring a question that affects all of us.
Campus Conversations · Fall 2026. Hosted by Stefen Ewers, Claude Campus Ambassador (Graduate Track), Georgia Tech. Small tables. Different disciplines. Honest conversations. This is a student-led initiative, not an official Georgia Tech or Anthropic event. Exact room to be confirmed.
