Χτίζοντας Prediction Markets Πάνω σε Blockchain
Ελάτε σε ένα session με τον Γιάννη Παναγιωτόπουλο, δημιουργό του CardChase (https://cardchase.fun/ ).
Η παρουσίαση θα ξεκινήσει με μια εισαγωγή στα prediction markets και στο πώς διαφέρουν από παραδοσιακά μοντέλα όπως τα διαδικτυακά στοιχήματα.
Στη συνέχεια θα εξερευνήσει διαφορετικές προσεγγίσεις στην ανάπτυξη prediction markets, με έμφαση στις σχεδιαστικές επιλογές και τις τεχνικές προκλήσεις.
Θα δούμε δύο ενδεικτικές κατευθύνσεις: prediction markets γύρω από το music hype, καθώς και prediction markets πάνω σε δημοφιλή card games (π.χ. Pokémon).
Στη συνέχεια θα παρουσιαστεί το CardChase με live demo, καθώς και μια συζήτηση για το πώς τέτοια projects σχεδιάζονται και αναπτύσσονται στο οικοσύστημα του Arbitrum.
Τέλος, θα γίνει μια σύντομη αναφορά στα Arbitrum DAO grants ως μια εναλλακτική πηγή χρηματοδότησης για μηχανικούς και builders.
Το session απευθύνεται σε developers και μηχανικούς που ενδιαφέρονται για την ανάπτυξη εφαρμογών στο Web3.

Join us for a session with Giannis Panagiotopoulos, creator of CardChase (https://cardchase.fun/ ).
The session will begin with an introduction to prediction markets and how they differ from traditional models such as online betting.
It will then explore different approaches to building prediction markets, focusing on design choices and technical challenges.
We will look at two example directions: prediction markets around music hype, and prediction markets built on top of popular card games (e.g. Pokémon).
This will be followed by a presentation of CardChase, including a live demo, and a discussion on how such projects are built and deployed within the Arbitrum ecosystem.
Finally, we will briefly cover Arbitrum DAO grants as an alternative source of funding for engineers and builders.
This session is for developers and engineers interested in building applications in Web3.
